At Seven Oceans, our roots come from sailing and water sports, where gear is tested every day by salt, wind, weather, and wear. That world taught us early that quality is not a luxury — it is a necessity. We carry that same approach onto land in every product we develop, with a focus on durability, function, and trust. From the sea to everyday life, our philosophy remains the same: Do it properly. Build it to last.

first mat prototype

The first product we chose to develop was a yoga mat made from discarded wetsuits. That decision led us to a supplier in the mountains of Bulgaria, where the first prototypes took shape. It was here that our idea was tested in practice, with a focus on materials, function, and quality from the very beginning. It marked the beginning of Seven Oceans as a product brand.

Pacific mat

Pacific Mat became our first finished product after a long series of prototypes. Through a strong development cycle, where we could continuously collaborate with yoga instructors, we refined the mat version by version. This helped us find the right shape, function, and quality. Once the details fell into place, we were ready to launch our first product.

#1 Kickstarter

Our first launch of Pacific Mat took place on Kickstarter. After the long development journey, it became the moment when the product met the market and the first people who believed in the idea. The Kickstarter campaign became a successful start for Seven Oceans. It gave us both momentum and confidence in the next step.
